HM80 Hygro OEM Module

OEM Humidity-dependent switch suitable for installation in devices

Features

  • OEM duct version
  • Accuracy: ±3,5 % RH
  • Robust
  • Long-term stability
  • Washable Polyga® measuring element
  • High accuracy in the high humidity range
  • No external power supply required

The hygro module HM80 is a humidity-dependent switch that can be fitted in equipment such as hygrostats, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, ventilating fans, driers and many more. The module represents an on-off controller with changeover contact. The switch connection is via a connecting terminal, but can also be supplied ready-made with cable connections. Protection-degree of the module is IP00. Several different shaft lengths are available as well as a version with two changeover contacts (HM80-2).

Remarkably straightforward and durable design
Our Humidistats feature a simple and robust design. The Polyga® measuring element is a unique hygroscopic fibre that changes its length depending on the humidity. The changes in length of the POLYGA® fibres are transferred via a lever system to a microswitch, resulting in an on/off controller that needs no auxiliary power supply.

Waterresistent and maintenance-free
It has unparalleled long-term stability and is 100 % waterproof, which makes it ideal for use in high humidity. In pure ambient air the measurement element is maintenance-free.
